Who are you and why did you create MealTrack?

MealTrack was created by Applied Visions to help meal prep businesses solve their most common problems and grow the way they should.

Will my subscription auto renew?

Yes, all of our subscription plans are set to automatically renew on the same day each month (the day you subscribed) until it is cancelled.

What is the fastest way to contact you?

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription plan at anytime.

Which countries have payment support?

Our payment is powered by Stripe and Authorize.net. You can find the current supported country and currency list for Stripe here: Global country list.

If your country or currency is unsupported, please reach out to us. We may be able to find a solution for you.

Front End

Do you integrate with my landing page, or do I have to use your landing page?

We have the ability to integrate with your landing page. Alternatively, if you would like one of our web developers to create a site for you, we offer that service as a flat rate fee of $500.

Do you integrate with Wix?

Yes.

What other integrations are available?

Clavio for email marketing, Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics. Anything else that is requested or anything that would be web-hooking required we can work with the customers.

Do we integrate with ShipStation, or can we work directly with UPS/FedEx?

We have the ability to import/export an Excel file to those providers and can come up with a way to interpolate weight, box sizes, etc.

Will my clients be redirected to your website?

No, we will integrate within your domain.

Will my clients see MealTrack when they order or my company’s name?

Only in the domain, otherwise your branding/logo/color scheme will be consistent within the order flow. The customer’s order flow domain will include both their company name and MealTrack’s name

What is an order flow? Can I have multiple order flows?

An order flow is what your customers see as they choose their meals. The order flows available are:

A La Carte (one time meal orders)
Meal bundles (choosing “x” number of meals at certain price points)
Subscription (choosing the number of meals you’d like as well as the number of days you’d like to receive those meals)

Can I set-up multiple order flows?

Yes, you can set up multiple order flows to display to your customers.

Can my clients choose their own meals? What if I want to choose their meals for them?

Yes, they can choose their own meals. If they are on a subscription plan and do not log on to choose their meals, the system will assign them meal items. You also have the option to choose their meals for them. Tenant scan also choose whether they want to expose that piece of functionality to their customers, meaning that if they do not want their customers to select their own meals, they can have an order flow created without that UI.

Will I be able to set a cut off time/date?

Yes.

Who do I use for a payment provider?

We exclusively work with Stripe or Authorize.net. Additionally, we will soon support a ‘PayLater’ feature. This will allow tenants who prefer cash, Zelle, or Venmo as a valid form of payment to expose that option on the front end to their customers.

How many pickup locations can I list?

As many as you would like, it is no additional cost.

Yes.

(OrderFlow) Can I include macronutrient information?

Yes.

(OrderFlow) Can I add an “up sell” area/place to offer additional items?

Yes, the tenant has the ability to configure their order flow to display “up sell” items anywhere within the order flow. Conventionally, this displays right after meal selections and right before check-out.

What kind of payments can my customers use at the time of checkout?

Customers may use store bought gift cards (if tenants choose to offer them), credit cards, debit cards, and soon, any offline payment methods.

Can I add a discount code section?

Yes.

Can we have a referral program?

Yes.

(MealBundle) Do I set the price and meal amount per bundle?

Yes.

(Subscription) Do I have to offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks?

No, we can configure the options. Tenant scan offer whatever custom meal types they would like. The options do not necessarily have to be the traditional Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Snack groupings.

(Subscription) Can I set the number of days they can receive their meals?

Yes.

(Orderflow) Can I add an area for allergy/dietary preferences?

Yes.

Can my customers choose their meals through this portal?

Yes, customers with subscriptions orwithout subscriptions can have access to this portal and select their meals.

Can my customers manage their subscription/meal bundles in this portal?

Yes, customers may manage their plans those under the‘Subscriptions’ section of the order flow.

What happens if my customer doesn’t need to receive meals on a certain day (or a few days)?

They can select those days under ‘Skip Days’.

Can my customer cancel through this page? Can I make it so they can’t cancel through this page?

Yes, under ‘Subscriptions’, they can cancel their accounts. If the business owner would rather, they contact them to cancel, that is an option as well. Tenants can control whether they would like their customers to Pause or Cancel their subscription. If tenants would rather manually execute those decisions themselves, then they can add UI on the front end to prompt customers to call them directly.

Will my customers see when the cutoff date and time is? How about the delivery date?

Yes, they will see the cut-off date and time as well as delivery date, but we do not have information regarding the delivery time a search business uses their own delivery solution. Tenants can also configure a cut-off countdown timer or date component on the corresponding Order Flows.

Will my clients be able to see their invoicing on this portal?

Yes, customers can see their invoice on the first page under the ‘Orders’ section.

What if my clients want to increase/decrease the number of meals they receive via subscription/meal plan?

They can make that adjustment under the ‘Subscription’ section by selecting the ‘Edit’ option.

Back End

What information will I see when I receive an order?

There will be an order number as well as the customer’s name on the dashboard. Within that, you will see billing details, order details, the upcoming meal specifications, and the cost of the meal(s).

Is there a customer profile where I can take notes for each customer?

Yes, under the customer profile, there is a section for ‘Customer Notes’.

Can I send gift cards? Are they virtual or hard copies?

Yes, we offer virtual gift cards that can be applied at checkout.

How would you handle a refund? Could that go towards my customer’s next order?

The balance of a refund will automatically carry over and be applied toward the next order placed by that customer. If a customer would prefer to receive are fund back to their original payment method, they would need to reach out to the tenant to facilitate the refund, from which point the tenant can do so manually on the back-end.

(Recipes) How do I add a recipe once I send you the ones I already have?

In the upper right-hand corner, you would select “Add Recipe” and the screen will prompt you through the areas to fill out. It is not required to fill out each section.

(Recipes) Do you upload my recipes for me?

We can assist with this during onboarding, but not on a continuous basis.

Where do I note how my customer prepares their meal items?

Under “Customer Preparation” on the recipe details within the recipes.

(Recipes) Can I put a note on the front end that shows that an item is Gluten Free/Dairy free/Low Calorie/etc.?

Yes, you can set up “recipe flags” to each meal item on the front end and filter meals to highlight these items. From there, you can set up “symbol flags” that correspond to the recipes, which dictates the display of small icons on the front-end order flow within each recipe display. Other notable examples would be “Spicy” or “Vegan”.

(Recipes) CanI change the metrics on the units for my ingredients?

Yes, you can customize the metrics.

(Recipes) How do I add macronutrient information?

At the bottom of each recipe detail, you select "Add Nutrition Fact," and then select the type from the drop down, followed by inputting the numeric value of each fact.

(Process Recipes) What is this page for?

This page is to make sure each meal is accounted for. If a customer on subscription does not log on to select their meals for the week and has very specific preferences set up, they may not have a meal item assigned to them due to conflict of meal items to choose from that week. The owner will then select meals for those customers to make sure they have a meal. Additionally, the need for this page would arise if a customer with an allergy selected a meal item that they have an allergy conflict with. In this case, the owner will assign them a new item without their allergy.

(Shopping List) How do I figure out how much I need for production?

Once you approve the recipes on the ‘Process Recipes’ page, it will produce a shopping list. This will give you specific measurements needed of each ingredient for the meals.

(Production Report) Where can I find a total list of what I need to produce for the day?

Under "Production Report," you can find a list of the total amount of items needed for that day.

(Meal Labels) How big are the labels?

The standard labels are 3 x 10 Avery sheets, 1 x 2 ½ inches in size. There are also larger, 4 x 2 meal labels, available for selection as well.

(Packing Slips) Where do these go?

These will go in the bag to the customers with their meals, so they know what the contents of their bag contains.

(Packing Slips) Do I have to include preparation notes?

No, although it is recommended. These notes are conventionally pulled from the recipe’s detail page, so we recommend that tenants should configure them thereon the back-end.

What kind of reporting do you have available?

Under the ‘Reports’ tab on the left, we have an extensive list of available reporting that will highlight operations. MealTrack is also flexible on creating custom reporting required by the tenants, to be discussed with our team as needed.

I don’t see a report I would need; how would I find that?

If you ever need a custom report, we can assist you with generating one, as long as the data for the requested information is in the system.
