User Experience and Design Updates
Simplicity and ease of use are absolutely crucial for any business doing online transactions. We’ve made some significant UI/UX improvements across multiple portions of the platform, most of which your customers will interact with directly. These changes will help make the entire platform easier for you and your customers to use intuitively, like making it simpler for customers to change or add delivery or pickup locations to specific orders.
Specific Feature Updates:
Improvements to the Delivery Addresses/Pickup Location User Experience on manage.mealtrack.com
- Improvements have been made to the changing and adding of delivery addresses/pickup locations on customer orders and subscriptions on customer order detail pages
- The ability to set different pickup locations to individual meal days capability has been added
- Managing and editing delivery addresses and pickup locations can be done via one consolidated view on the Order Details page of individual orders
Improvements to the UX/UI of the Manage Discounts Page and the Implementation of New Discount Parameters
- Improvements to the UX/UI of the Manage Discounts page have been made and we have expanded the configurability of discount creations.
- Discounts can be set to only affect products, meals, subtotal, total or delivery costs.
- Automatic discounts can be configured to trigger on the front-end when a customer reaches a minimum or maximum day quantity, or a meals per day threshold.
- Surcharges and Returning Customer settings are now available and can be configured directly on the page
- Active coupons are to display by default upon navigating to the page
Visual Improvements to UX/UI Components throughout manage.mealtrack.com
- Small visual tweaks have been made to the input field components throughout manage.mealtrack.com in an effort to maintain a cohesive and consistent UI.
Improvements to the Display of Audit Trail Events
- MealTrack users can now view certain events in a more user-friendly and expanded format on the Audit Trail. This makes it easier to backtrack when necessary, particularly when other users or customers have taken certain actions.
Customer Account Portal Improvements
One of the things we set out to do with MealTrack was make it as straightforward as possible for your customers to manage their own account profiles, and we’ve made every effort to make the customer account portal as robust as we can. In this release, we’ve added some improvements to this part of the platform, helping to make it simpler for your customers to manage their information and preferences.
Specific Feature Updates:
Updates to the UX/UI of the Orders Page in Customer Account Portal
- We have made small visual updates to the Orders page (where customers can manage their order’s details, directly navigate to the My Meals page with a click of a button)
- We have added the Update Delivery option allowing customers to update their delivery method from Delivery to Pickup or vice-versa.
- Upon selecting the Update Delivery option, they have the option to: Select an existing address associated with their account Switch to Pick-Up and select a pickup location
- Note: Updating your delivery method will only affect the order and will not affect a customer’s upcoming orders. Customers may only update an address that pertains to the same delivery schedule.
Updates to the UX/UI of the Delivery Addresses Page in Customer Account Portal
- A UX/UI refactor has been done to the Delivery Address page (this is where customers can add/edit addresses associated with their account)
Updates to the UX/UI of the Subscriptions Page in Customer Account Portal
- Similar to the Orders page, we have made small visual improvements to the Manage Subscriptions page (this is where customers can manage and view their subscription/s)
- We have added the Update Delivery option allowing customers to update their delivery method from Delivery to Pickup or vice-versa

Improved Copy Displayed on the Orders Page for Skipped Orders in Customer Accounts
- We have made improvements to the Orders page and implemented copy that informs customers about any skipped orders. This will provide customers with the latest status of their upcoming orders and avoid any confusion.
Order Flow Improvements
We’re always looking to make things as easy as possible for your customers to place orders. To help with that, we’ve added some optional features to the platform. You can now elect to offer your customers the choice to make a one-time purchase that is fulfilled across multiple weeks, added options for you to allow customers to change subscription cadences, added the option to configure order-related FAQs directly within the order flow, added the option to allow customers to remove meals during an order, and more.
Our order flow is now more customizable than ever, with fewer barriers between you and your customers.
Specific Feature Updates:
Ability to set multi-week one-time order periods
- Companies can now offer customers the option to place multi-week one-time orders

Flexible Subscription Periods when Ordering
- MealTrack companies can now offer their customers the option to subscribe to a variety of subscription periods.
- Customers can select the number of weeks in which they would like to receive meals and renew their subscriptions at their desired cadence via the day quantity selector on the ordering flow.

Configuring Order-Related Questions on the Ordering Flow
- MealTrack companies have the option to have order-related questions configured to the ordering flow process

Enabling Customers to Remove Meals During the Ordering Process
- MealTrack companies can now provide customers with the option to remove meal quantities via recipe cards if they no longer wish to commit to that number of meals after navigating to the recipe selection section.

Recipe Management Improvements
It’s easier than ever for you to manage your recipes and the way they’re displayed to your customers. For example, we’ve made it simpler to clone recipes, which can help you make changes to your menu much more rapidly. You can now also easily remove nutritional labels, our image uploader will now automatically resize your images, dramatically cutting down upload times and ensuring that your menu items look as appetizing as possible on your site.
Specific Feature Updates:
Improvements to Recipe Management Tool
- Improvements have been made to the recipe management tool on manage.mealtrack.com
- We have improved the functionality for copying recipes by retaining additional fields. This minimizes the need for double work when a user is creating new recipes with similar information.
- We have optimized the image uploader by automatically resizing images. This improvement allows for faster upload times and ensures that images are resized to the best quality for recipe cards on the front end.
- Nutritional Labels can now easily be removed
This release also comes with some bug fixes and other general tweaks and improvements to help keep everything running smoothly and displaying correctly. As always, if you encounter an issue with the platform, please let us know so we can address it as soon as possible!
